Laminate / Guest lists

Guest lists

Guest lists that add up before doors.

The band and crew request their guests in Laminate. The tour manager approves them against the venue’s allocation, and the box office gets a clean list sorted by surname. No more counting names in a group chat at six o’clock.

Set the allocation once

For each show, enter how many tickets the venue is giving you, how many each person can ask for, and the time requests close. Everyone can see how many are left before they ask.

Requests from the whole touring party

Band and crew add their own guests from their phones: the name, any plus-ones, and the pass they need. Passes cover guests, photo passes, industry and all access. Their requests show up for the tour manager as pending.

Approve, decline, and see where you stand

The tour manager approves or declines each request. Laminate keeps count against the allocation and warns you when approvals take you over, so the surprise happens on your phone in the afternoon rather than at the box office window.

A list the box office can use

One tap makes the box office list: the artist, venue and date, the total number of tickets, and every approved guest sorted by surname with their ticket count and pass type. Copy it into an email to the venue or print it.

The venue sees it too

The approved guest list also appears on the venue’s private link for the show, so their box office has the latest version without waiting for an email.

Questions

Can band members add their own guests?

Yes. Anyone on the tour can request guests, and their requests wait for the tour manager to approve.

What kinds of pass are there?

Guest, photo pass, industry and all access, plus any number of plus-ones on each name.

What if we go over the allocation?

Laminate shows how many tickets are left and warns the tour manager when approvals go over the venue’s allocation.

How does the venue get the list?

Copy the box office list into an email, or the venue reads the approved list on its private show link.

Set up the run, invite the band and crew, and send the venues their links. It takes about as long as a soundcheck.
