Built for the people on the road, not just the office
A lot of touring software is built for the person at the desk. It holds everything, but the band never opens it, so the day still runs on group chats and screenshots of PDFs. Laminate starts from the other end: the drummer checking what time lobby call is, the driver looking for the next pickup, the venue answering the advance.
If a full touring suite feels like more than your tour needs, or your team never logs in to the one you have, Laminate covers the day-to-day in a way everyone can follow without training.
What’s in it
- Day sheets: call times, venue, your pickups, tonight’s hotel and what changed.
- Advancing: a checklist for every show and a private link the venue answers on.
- Guest lists: requests, allocations, cut-offs and a box office list.
- Hotels and rooming lists: booking references, who’s in which room, and nights with no hotel flagged.
- Drives, flights and ferries: pickups in order, check-in deadlines, seats and the van on board.
- Riders, stage plots and artwork: upload the PDF or Word file once and every venue gets it.
- Merch: stock by size, sales every night, the venue cut and the till count.
- Show financials and tour P&L: fees, buyouts and costs per day, added up for the whole run.
Everyone gets the right pass
You invite people by email and choose what they can do. Tour managers edit everything. Band and crew see the day sheet, their own room and seat, request guests and upload artwork. Drivers get every drive in order with one-tap routes. Venues don’t need an account at all: they get a private link to their own show. Merch sellers can get a link that only lets them record that night’s sales.
Made for basements, ferries and service stations
The whole tour is kept on each phone, so Laminate opens and edits with no signal and syncs as soon as you’re back online. It runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or laptop. Add it to your home screen and it behaves like any other app, with nothing to install from an app store.
Private where it matters
Fees, costs and the tour P&L are only visible to tour managers and the people you choose. Venue links show only that show and stop working after it. Seller links last 24 hours.
What it doesn’t do (yet)
Laminate isn’t a ticketing system or an accounting package: the tour P&L downloads as a spreadsheet for your accountant. There’s no import from other apps yet, so most people set up their next run rather than moving an old one.
